Forum Idea	Can't Post

Have you considered a forum on foals and weanlings, pregnant mares and/or geriatric horses? The care and needs of these horses make wonderful discussion threads, and most average horsepeople only know how to take care of middle aged hay munchers!
Also a sick horse section would be fantastic...you could have discussions of colic, founder/laminitis, worms/bots, etc.

Thanks for the suggestions. We're still trying to figure out what combination of forums will work best. It looks like most posts so far are in the generic categories and the specific breed forums have for the most part been overlooked. Perhaps then a generic breeding/pregnant horses forum would make sense.

Would the sick horse topics fit in our "Veterinary Care" forum? If they would serve the same purpose, we could change the name for it to be more welcoming, not to imply that it's only for veterinarians but rather all "sick horse" topics.

Maybe consider Veterinary care with standing sub topics such as colic, founder etc. as these topics are common and may generate alot of interest. Or, you could rename it to Horse health with the same sub topics. Either way, great site! I am sure as the membership grows we will have more breed interest!

Search for (options)
