CRIBBER Can't Post

Well I come with hat in hand to confess! Yeah I do...I have a CRIBBER & love her to death & don't know what to do aBout it...She's a beautiful, well tempered little blue eyed paint mare. She's bout 6, oh it's Jan.1.08, 7 yrs old now...I can let anybody ride her..other Ole fat men, kid, single or double....Flashy & cool & calm but a cribber... Over the yrs I've lost my cribbing collars & the desire to try to stop her from cribbing...Anybody know any miracle cures for stoppin cribbing..
Over the past I've heard that the ones that know say they've changed their minds & it's not as bad as 1st thought....BUT I beleive that even if it's not that bad, "It's destructive to property & causes the horse to have a shorter life because of the loss of teeth being worn down...

Have you tried the stop cribbing sprays? Or even extra hot hotsauce will generally work.

I tried the stop cribbing spray years ago & she seemed to realyy like it but it's been a long time... I may try that hot hot sauce ...JUST FOR FUN! & then I may give the stop cribbing stuff another try..

We put it on the wood areas that he would suck on and he stopped after just a couple of times. It is a sight to behold, still laughing about it.
