'itchy' horse Can't Post

TongueI have 3 horses on the farm. one of them is constantly looking for brush or a twig on the tree to stand and itch itself. It seems to be itching on it's belly, neck, back etc. Does anyone know why?

Maybe the first thing to try with your itchy horse would be a bath with a medicated shampoo if weather permits. We have hot and cold water piped to our outside faucets so they can have a warm water bath, and then blankets if necessary 'till they're dry. Otherwise maybe the vet'll have to check it out. Sometimes, if they're rubbing their tail, it's worms.
