Stem Cell Can't Post

Ok.....I decided to try stem cell therapy. I managed to put a small strain on the front suspensory of my good horse Hobbs. Its not a tear, not near the Sesmoid and barely a strain but you can see it on a good ultra sound machine and after our latest show he seemed a little off. I have to admit that I think the reason is all my fault due to thick sand footing that I put into our arena recently.

I took him to Nevada to have the initial cut done to harvest the genetic material (doesnt that sound a lot better than 'we yanked a chunk of fat out of his rump'?) and two days later had him injected.

The difference in this post op therapy is that we start him back to work immediatly with 20 min of walking and building from there. So far he is doing well but I will know more in a few weeks. No icing, no bute, no isoxoprine.

If anyone has used Stem Cell therapy I would like to hear what your experience have been.

Regards,
mark
