Uncle Buck and the others are spot on adding 1/2-1 cup of corn oil to your horses feed is a good cheap source of fat- it will help make their coats glossy too excellent source of calories for the cold months and for hard keepers, or horses that get 'hot' on traditional diets http://www.ces.ncsu.edu/...k/horses/ag558-7.pdf here is an artilce from North Carolina extension servce explaining adding fat to horses diet as for vitamins- we like to use sho glo- its cheap, has a good ratio of nutrients, and they eat it right up with their feed- but like someone else has said- everyone has their favorites...
