Re: [Muhammad] Welcome to Quarter Horses [In reply to] Can't Post

Hey Muhammad! Just found this site and came to this thread first! I have a wonderful mare, just turned 6 years old. Her Sire is a reg. Quarterhorse and I'd do about anything to find a picture of him. I have a copy of his pedigree, so I have his reg. name, numbers, former owners, etc. Do you have any idea how I might find a picture of him anywhere?

Thanks for any help you may be able to give me!!

There's a few things you can do. You can post his name to some of the long-standing QH lists (try searching Yahoo Groups or Onelist groups to see if there are Quarter horse lists) and somebody may recognize it, or you can go to Allbreed pedigree (http://www.allbreedpedigree.com). Try searching for her sire there - sometimes people will post photos of horses along with the pedigree information. Or go to Google and type in her sire's name and see if you come up with anything. Old Quarterhorse Journals might have his photo in an ad, if he was a horse that was campaigned at show or as a stallion. Good luck.
