Introduce trailer to horse Can't Post

I have a new trailer for my horse to ride in. These are the steps that I am going to take to get her ready.

Clean out new trailer and put some hay in the top to get smells
Put some manuer on floor boards to help get her smell in
Park it by her stall and open doors and walk around it making noice for a few days
Put the trailer in her loading area with doors open for 1/2 hour for a few days
Practice with her our loading procedures
Load her a few times and then drive her around a few times.
Repeat or practice any steps that are missing.

Any ideas?

How did you do with the new trailer ? Has your horse ever been trailered before ? if so those steps sound good if your just introducing your horse to a "Different" trailer. Hope it worked for you.

P.S. Sorry for the delay in answering your post, things are starting to quiet down around here (after 6 months) which gives me time for the internet.
