I need to think cross-fencing Can't Post

Here is a shot of yet another project.
We are still clearing barbed wire out. After that is done, we will turn our attention to pastures.

You might want to contact NRCS. They are really high right now on rotational grazing. I 'm not sure what you are going to run but if it's cattle you would have a good shot at getting alot of your clearing and fencing cost shared. We did a similiar project and they paid for 75% of our entire project.

Yes. That is excellent advice. Here in the commonwealth we have two programs available to us. Depending on the amount of land set aside to "protect" a watershed. water supply these programs can be very, very helpfull.

My wife will have to make the call on which way to go. I am open to any of her ideas. At this point the best option available to us, will only reuire us to set aside 3 acres, but cover roughly 50 in fencing.

My issue, I really LOVE open space.

Thanks for sharing that.
